Cementitious Repair Mortars
Concrete structures are prone to deterioration caused by physical, chemical, and environmental factors. Common problems include honeycombs in new construction, surface cracks, and spalling due to reinforcement corrosion. To ensure durability and strength, different concrete repair solutions are required based on the scale of damage. These materials should be easy to apply, achieve high strength comparable to the parent concrete, and provide long-term protection. For large-area rehabilitation, spray-applied mortars are preferred for faster and more efficient application.
At FutureLayers, we provide a complete product range of concrete repair mortars and solutions:

Cementitious Micro Concrete
When a structure suffers significant deterioration or when the design requires increasing the size of a structural member due to higher load demands, micro-concrete repair solutions are the ideal choice. Micro-concretes are free-flowing, high-strength, and non-shrink repair concretes that can easily penetrate into heavily reinforced and congested areas where normal concrete placement is difficult. Their excellent flow properties make them suitable for structural strengthening, jacketing applications, and thin-section repairs, ensuring durability and long-term performance.
Futurelayers offers an end-to end solutions to meet these different challenges.

Epoxy Resin Based Mortars
For repair applications that demand chemical resistance or early strength development within 7 days, epoxy resin-based repair mortars are the most effective solution. These systems provide exceptional compressive strength along with high tensile and flexural strength, making them ideal for durable and long-lasting concrete repairs in challenging environments.

Epoxy Resin Based Concrete
When repair thickness exceeds 50 mm, using conventional repair mortars can become uneconomical and lead to excessive heat of hydration. In such cases, epoxy resin-based concrete is the ideal solution, provided shuttering can be arranged. Epoxy concrete offers high compressive, tensile, and flexural strength, along with excellent chemical resistance, making it suitable for heavy-duty structural rehabilitation.
FutureLayers also provides a specialized range of epoxy underwater concretes, designed for effective performance in underwater repair applications.

Epoxy and PU Injection Grouts
Concrete structures with deep cracks or areas of low concrete density often require high-strength epoxy injections to restore structural integrity and enhance durability. However, when cracks are water-bearing, epoxy materials may not be suitable. In such conditions, hydrophobic polyurethane injection systems are the preferred solution, as they effectively seal and strengthen the structure while resisting water ingress.

Structural Reinforcement Protection
In concrete structures where spalling is caused by reinforcement corrosion, it is essential to treat the corroded steel reinforcement bars before applying any repair system. This is achieved by using epoxy-based or cement-based anti-corrosive coatings that effectively arrest the corrosion process and protect the steel. Commonly used options include epoxy zinc-rich coatings and cement polymer-based materials, both of which provide long-term protection and ensure the durability of subsequent concrete repairs.

Fibre Reinforced Polymers
For retrofitting concrete structures that require improved flexural rigidity, load-bearing capacity, shear strength, or torsional resistance, advanced strengthening materials are used. Carbon fibers, glass fibers, and carbon fiber plates are highly effective solutions, offering superior strength-to-weight ratio and long-term durability for structural reinforcement.
