It creates a rubber-like, seamless and flexible coating on flat or sloping roofs, podiums, decks, terraces, water tanks, bathrooms, shopping malls, plazas, landscaping, parking garages, bridge decks, and all types of RCC slabs. Application Methodology

Surface Preparation

  • Remove dirt, dust, paint, oil, grease, etc. with stiff nylon brush and floor polishing machine or equivalent.

  • Fill cracks and voids with polymer modified repair mortar.

  • Clean surface with compressed air.

Priming

  • Prime with SUNPRIME PU using a slow speed stirrer to uniform consistency.

  • For horizontal/vertical surfaces, apply SUNPRIME PU by brush or airless sprayer.

  • Allow 30 minutes air cure after priming before ELASTOROOF PU application.

Coating Application

  • Apply on solid, cured surface (minimum 7 days old concrete).

  • Standard application: 1.5 kg/m² in two coats (DFT 1.2–1.5 mm on smooth, non-absorbent substrate).

  • Each coat: brush, roller, wiper, or squeegee.

  • Allow min. 24–48 hours for curing, depending on conditions.

  • For tanks, finish with a cement-sand screed before tiling.
